We have been shut in a tin for most of April.
Quite what has happened to her desk... well words fail us to be frank. She had a tidy and 'tinned up' each separate project... then ran out of tins... We think we're in 'to do tin' 3.
Help!

all is revealed...
...SO there we go- the slightly glued balloon was OBVIOUSLY to stick buttons to.
she then burst the balloon and removed a cluster of glued together buttons (she spends the whole day doing this stuff you know)
We now have a cluster of glued together buttons on the desk. it's curved slightly from the balloon so are taking it in turns sleeping in

Craft Challenge
noodleBubble is on the design team for The Craft Challenge over at Creative Connections. Consequently she gets the challenge the month before and has to submit her piece before the 1st of each month.
What this means for us is-
She gets the challenge theme.
Has her initial idea around the 2nd or 3rd ... usually involving reusing something from the bin
She gets everything she needs for that idea on her desk.
Then she starts on something else.
And Forgets her initial idea.
She has a different idea.
Gets more stuff out...
and so it goes on...
This can be repeated MANY MANY times in the same month culminating in great teetering piles of craft covering EVERY part of her desk. We're politely calling it craft, it can be pieces of wood, swathes of lace, 5000 toilet rolls or simply the contents of the recycling bag...
It gets pretty uncomfortable on here if we're honest.
Appears this months challenge is potentially going to feature buttons... quite why she's got a slightly glued balloon on her desk too we shudder to think...
Not warmed up yet here has it?

New Home
Good Morning!
We're all in shock here as amazingly she's done something immediately with that wood & not left it on the desk for an age like she usually does...
After a quick lick of paint
she decoupaged a napkin on the top
with some Mod Podge...
Too lazy to walk to get some sandpaper...
she used a nearby emery board
to file the paper at the edges...
Modpodged over the top
Added a gorgeous Decorative trim-
again cut off an old napkin
again cut off an old napkin
THE GIRL THROWS NOTHING AWAY
(make sure those bubbles are smoothed out)
Added a door shape
& another decorative trim

Wood. A piece of Wood.
There's a collective rolling of bunny eyes going on.
Her levels of not being able to throw anything away have today reached an all time High (or Low...)
Today on the desk we woke up to find this....
YES
It's a piece of wood.
She was building a fire,
now we've got this on the
desk to stare at.
Tsk.
There's also her
passport renewal form...
Honestly,
can she not
Concentrate
on ANYTHING?
Hope you're well?
Apologies for all the frowning

Hello!
Crikey. We're awfully excited to be starting this blog...
Obviously we can only use the computer when noodleBubble isn't on it (we're all rolling our eyes) so don't expect very regular posting from us. To set the scene- absolute tip of a desk this morning... despite her resolution of starting each week with a clear one.
TSK!
AND we have awoken in March to SNOW. Currently cuddled in a pile of wadding watching it fall. Despite her protestations of LOTS TO DO & BUSY WEEK she too appears to simply be staring out of the window.
Tsk.
We'll have to get ourselves photographed and do proper introductions another day... Meanwhile thanks for hopping by. We've had to steal the photo above off her instagram... there's NO WAY we're going out today in that snow.
Keep warm-
